The Soul Play Family 365 Experiment
Welcome to the “365 Experiment”!
Do you ever wonder what it would be like to step out of your daily employment?
Do you ever dream of a life that is in line with your desire to move from your passion to action, intention to manifestation, and imagination to creation?
Do you ever wonder if you could live your dreams while feeding your family, paying the bills, mortgage and kids’ tuition, and saving for your retirement?
Do you ever wonder what it would be like to be your own boss, the captain of your soul, and pursue your true hue?
If you say “yes” to any of the above, we invite you to read along as we chronicle our first year in the “365 Experiment” blog!
True to our desire to live in accordance with our belief that each soul comes to life to play: to explore, experiment, experience and expand for joy, abundance, vitality and a sense of completion beyond accomplishment or success, we are leaping leapt off the cliff to soar or fly (since falling is not an option with two young children on our backs) when Jung leaves left her corporate job on October 26, 2011 to join her stay-at-home spouse Charles to explore, experiment, experience and expand as “couplepruneurs”!
We realized that life was too short to wait until the kids go to college or until Jung’s retirement to live our true lives. We said to each other:
“We need to live what matters to us most! There’s no room for waste, waiting or a series of "what if"s. The time is NOW, the place is HERE, and the power is ME (and YOU)! Do not waste any resources you have. Appreciate what you have and share what you have to serve and flourish in what you came to this life for! Here and Now! Each and every day!”
We will be figuring out our new life as we go, but we both have a deep conviction that Life will take care of us no matter what. Our number-one job will be to stay true to our own unique patterns and create our own paths.
We wholeheartedly invite you to come with us during our living experiment as we explore and experience a shift in paradigm (from living off of one-spouse’s pay check to transforming work into soul-making) and expand into earning a living through fair exchange of value in service. Do-able or not? We shall find out through our 365-day live experiment!
In Joy & Gratitude,
Jung & Charles
